If you were looking for an all-wheel drive model, then you are in luck as all the Rogue trim levels can be equipped with all-wheel drive. For the 2017 Rogue, AWD is a low cost option that adds just $1,350 to the MSRP.

Engine and fuel efficiency

You may have noticed that we didn’t talk about performance specs or fuel efficiency for any of these trims, and that’s because in those departments they are all the same. The standard 2.5-liter Rogue engine produces 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque.

When it comes to efficiency, the front-wheel drive versions all get 33 mpg on the highway and 26 mpg in the city. If you upgrade to all-wheel drive, then the fuel economy drops only slightly for 32 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city.

The Midnight Edition is a special trim that is actually based on the SV trim level. It’s a little more expensive with a starting MSRP of $26,630, but it adds blacked out features such as black 17-inch alloy wheels, black outside mirrors, black roof rails, and more. The Midnight Edition is only available in select colors.

Is there a hybrid Nissan Rogue?

There is actually two hybrid Nissan Rogue models starting with the SV Hybrid and the SL Hybrid. Though these are entirely different models, they do inherit a vast majority of their features from the SV and SL trims respectively. The hybrid models are only available in select regions.
